On October 10th, 2017, NRPA, in partnership with The Trust for Public Land (TPL) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI), launched the 10-Minute Walk campaign to ensure there is a great park within a 10-minute walk of every person in every neighborhood, in every city across the country. Since then, more than 145 mayors and cities have signed-on as champions of park access and quality. In early 2018, the campaign moves into phase two, providing a framework and support for cities to reach their 10-Minute Walk goals. Join representatives from NRPA, TPL, and ULI to find out what tools and support are available and how you can be involved in the campaign. Additionally, at the end of the webinar, NRPA will discuss and answer questions on the 10-Minute Walk call for applications to provide $40,000 to 10 cities. Applications open on January 29th, 2018.
