Description: NRPA, with the support of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is offering local park and recreation agencies across the country, Instructor Training Grants for Physical Activity Programs, to train staff as instructors to implement evidence-base physical activity programs that are designed to help people with a variety of chronic diseases to manage their conditions through physical activity engagement and health education. These programs are popular among older adults of all abilities. These programs can attract new audiences to your agency, provide opportunities for community partnerships, and improve the health and wellness of your community. NRPA Education online learning content is accessible for 180 days from the date of your registration. The learning content is available for registration for one year from the date of origination.
